I have been wondering about our Genius Hour projects, and how we measure their success. How do you know if you've done a good job? I found this today and I think it's a fabulous tool to help you reflect on your work. If you have already completed a project I want you to add your reflection in the comments section. Think about what you have done well and what you feel you need to improve on in your next project. If you are still working on your first project, think about the different criteria carefully. What are you doing well and where do you need to step up.

My first genius hour project was on cats. I didn't really know how it all worked, so I was simply using the blog to find answers. I didn't really use any other resources. I didn't play, but I DID have fun. I like cats and it was really fun finding out about them. I didn't really "test my limits" though, and I kind of stuck to basic ideas and didn't really try anything new.

I think that for my first project a did pretty well. One thing that I could have done put more effort in trying to look into more web sides and coming up with harder questions that need to be looked for more widely. But I think that over all it was a pretty good project and I have lodes of fun doing it. Can not wait to make those brownies again.

My 1st project was thousand years on flute. You have not seen it on the blog yet and that is because it was going to take to long so long and Mr. Ian didn't want something that would take so long and that would have taken me so long

My first genius hour project was a new invention called "The Mosquito Charger". I was working on it until I had lost concentration it was like I did not now what I was doing. I failed to remember. So i had to start again it was all worth it and a was able to present it. I did not actually need resources because it was an Invention that I made so it all came from head it was fun trying to do something new.

Wow. I have just finished my second genius hour project. I am happy. I think that I did it better than I did my first one. I have to admit that I used the internet a lot. Most of my information came from websites or google. I did learn something new. Well, I found a cool new cooking website. I think as my action I will make something off the website! I also did something fun while I was doing this. I made some egg-fried-rice and I ate it and I took pictures. YUM! Next time, I think that maybe I would use more information from my friends and other resources. YAY!
